I must share my new favorite website,
swapworkshop.com! Created this past Summer (but already growing at a rapid speed), it's a site for people wanting to swap their handmade items, vintage finds, or supplies. You simply post a few items, wait for a request, earn points whenever you ship your item (no money is exchanged, only points in trade), then go pick what you'd like to own from the listings, lastly "purchase" the item(s) with your points. I've already received a handmade, patchwork sugar skull skirt, a handmade catnip mouse for my kitties, a set of handmade magnets, and a lovely necklace (all the way from the UK!). I'm currently waiting on a custom made sugar skull stuffie, like this one available on the site by dailythread:

Check out these other lovelies available now and waiting for you on Swap Workshop!

Go ahead and visit the
site, you know you want to! Be warned, it's addictive! Take a look at the introduction and when you join, you will receive free points when you list your first 3 items! When signing up, please put that "punchypirate" referred you. ;) Also, please look for me (a.k.a. punchypirate), so we can be swapping friends! To keep up with the new goodies added, follow Swap Workshop on
Facebook and
Twitter.
