I've been having so much fun experimenting with some new ideas! I just purchased a jigsaw power tool, and I am in love!! I have never even used a power tool before, but I decided to go for it with the saw (after reading about the uses and watching a safety video on YouTube, lol!) After a couple test cuts, I cut out my first design. Here it is:
Now, here it is painted:
I'm so excited about the pieces my jigsaw and I are going to create together! This one will be for sale at the Pecan St. Festival in Austin, but I'll be making more for my Etsy shop. Please share your comments, and I'd love to know if anyone has any suggestions or requests for future cut pieces?
