Halloween Weekend!

Hello friends! Halloween is here, yay! Last night, Dave and I went over to our friends house to watch scary movies on a big projector screen outside. They showed "Paranormal Activity" (which I had never seen). At the time I was having fun, but when we got home and went to bed, I was T-E-R-R-I-F-I-E-D! Dave promptly fell asleep, and I had the covers pulled up under my eyes like a kid. That movie scared the crap out of me, and I barely slept last night. It's so strange, because I enjoy watching scary movies, but occasionaly, one will just get under my skin! How about you?

"Flamenco Fiona" Hand Mirror ~Sold~

On a lighter note, I just listed this hand mirror in my Etsy shop! It was my first time painting a hand mirror, and I'm really pleased with the finished look. :) Too much fun to make, I'll definitely have to paint more of these!

Have a Happy Halloween!

I'm a total wuss when it comes to scary movies... I can't watch them!

And I loooove that mirror! Amazing job there!

And if you start painting nurses I will HAVE to get them! ;)

I love that mirror! So beautiful!

I made the mistake of watching that movie too. Scared the crap out of me... I can usually watch scary movies if it is during the day and it is light outside. But that one really did a number on me.
Hope you have a very Happy Halloween!

We recently just watched that movie too and I was just as freaked out. Her standing by the bed just watching him?? What is that? Ha!

Lovely mirror! I am so jealous of your skills!

I refuse to watch any of the "Paranormal" movies because I know I couldn't sleep for a while either. What makes these movies so scary, Leila? I love the mirror, gorgeous. May you and Dave and of course your fur baby receive lots of treats and love.

Well, it's nice to know that I'm not alone in being scared by that movie! Thanks for the love on my mirror, ladies!

Wendy, I think what makes those types of movies so scary for me, is that people really have had paranormal experiences. I do believe that there are things beyond our understanding...things we can't see. The thought of an angry and evil spirit/demon/energy thing coming after me, with no escape or way to reason with it, just completely freaks me out. At least, I would have a fighting chance with a monster from another scary movie (probably not, but maybe?). ;)
