Catching up....

I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day! I ended up using the long weekend to catch up on various business tasks (and ate some grilled turkey hot dogs - yum!). I re-organized my studio, and Mr. Meow helped me get things tidied up...

I also applied and was accepted into Team EFA (Etsy For Animals)! I'm so excited to be part of the team, and have been meaning to apply for quite a while now. It's for Etsy artists that volunteer/donate to animal charities, and want to use their art to help our furry friends. Speaking of which, I donated to 2 awesome charities in May, both happened to be for Pit Bull rescue and adoption. One of them is "Change of Heart Pit Bull Rescue" and if you go to their Facebook page, you can enter a contest to win a couple of my doggie themed prints (and also see some adorable dogs waiting for adoption)!

A couple pieces that I neglected to post earlier on my blog:

Saint Teresa is waiting (with the patience of a saint, of course!) for her new home:

and I also have a couple "La Catrina" cameo plaques available on Etsy:

Now that almost everything in my shop is painted copper, I think I'll have to force myself to take a break from that color and focus on getting some color balance back in my work! As I wait for my new plaster molds to come in, I think I'll work on some wood pieces, it's been awhile...;)

I always love that no matter how long I am gone, whenever I come back to your site there is always something fresh and new in regards to your creation. Love the copper... Hope all is well with you.. blessings

I love the shot of Mr. Meow "helping", haha :)

Good for you joining Etsy For Animals! People really love your work, so I am sure the animals will really benefit having you working for them!
