Pura Vida



This vibrant mermaid is the newest print in my Etsy shop. :) "Pura Vida" is a classic phrase from Costa Rica, meaning "pure life". While I normally paint pure death (ha!), I adore this phrase and the passion for life behind it. So, I decided to illustrate a very colorful and alive piece!

    I love, love, love mermaids. She is beautiful. I think it's healthy to counterbalance all your wonderful "death" art with a few alive and kickin' pieces as well. Just one more thing to put on my wish list..sigh ;)
