Brothers Grim Bread Box

I finally completed the sugar skull/"Dia de Los Muertos" bread box I've been working on! I'm happy with the end result, particularly the vibrant colors against the red. This is my first time painting blue roses with yellow highlights, and I like the combination. I named it "Brothers Grim" as the two skulls are facing each other in a close-knit, familiar way. They are also similar in appearance. It's also a play off THE Brothers Grimm, who are the writers of the dark, but wonderful, children's fairy tales. I just listed it on eBay last night, and I hope it will be a unique, wicked addition to someone's kitchen!
